A few of my favorite things...
PsychologyI really love empirical psychology. Studying human behavior is fascinating. From identifying the basic biological processes involved in interacting with our world to understanding the complex ways that social systems work, psychological science offers a unique and ever-evolving understanding of what it means to be human.
MusicMusic is something that I love in every form. I attend live concerts regularly, and I am constantly looking for new music to listen to. I also play the guitar, and dabble a bit in the mandolin and piano.
TravelI love to travel. I have maps hanging on my wall with push pins marking all the places I have been. I enjoy road trips with spontaneous stops and visiting places I’ve never been before. I have visited 48 of the 50 U.S. states, and hope to visit all 50 someday.
The OutdoorsI come from a place where the average temperature during the summer is 95 degrees, but I still love being outside. I like to bike, kayak, ski, swim, hike, rock climb, play outdoor sports, and lay in the grass and read. Basically I like do anything that involves being outside. My favorite concert venues are outdoors and I will always want a porch, a balcony, or a yard.
